Roxanna Panufnik (b.1968) ARAM, GRSM (hons), LRAM studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music and, since then, has written a wide range of pieces - opera, ballet, music theatre, choral works, chamber compositions, and music for film and television - which have been performed all over the world.

The Studs Trust was set up to pursue the philanthropic work of American Banker, John Studzinski. Under its umbrella, he created the UK-based Genesis Foundation to concentrate on arts projects. The Genesis Foundation works principally in the areas of opera and theatre and its brief is to support emerging talent. This is achieved by creating projects in partnership with relevant, existing institutions.

Francesco Forgione unlike his namesake St. Francis of Assisi, shunned merry company in his youth, moreover as a teenager he lived a very solitary life divided between his studies and the local church, where he was an altar boy.  Even at the tender age of five he had conceived the idea of joining a religious order.

Genesis works with major arts organisations to create "schools" in which young professional talent can be nurtured and their promise consolidated.
