First the three tenors put the opera into football; now it’s up to Tête à Tête to put the kick into opera. Join us as we take the terraces by storm in a jubilant festival of more than 30 new works in our biggest programme yet of entirely 21st century drama and storytelling driven by music and the voice. Over an action-packed three weeks, we host up to six different performances a night where artists will strain every sinew to poke, prod, nudge, dribble and lovingly kick about this most immediate, engaging, sensual, consuming and sweaty of art-forms.
“Tête à Tête continues to extend the barriers of what is operatically possible often with very entertaining results"
The Daily Telegraph, December
