Genesis Sixteen in Manchester

The third year’s intake on the Genesis Sixteen programme celebrate the end of their November training course with a free public pre-concert performance at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on Friday 15 November at 6.30pm. The choir will sing Holst’s Nunc Dimittis as well as Britten’s Sucession of Four Sweet Months and Fair Daffodils to celebrate the composer’s centenary year. Harry Christophers, Founder and Conductor of Genesis Sixteen and Eamonn Dougan, Associate Conductor, will also lead a discussion on the subject of the scheme which will include insightful vocal demonstrations from the choir. Christophers will conduct The Sixteen in the main evening’s concert of Purcell and Britten at 7.30pm, for tickets please click here.
