The Royal Court Theatre Genesis Plays

The Royal Court’s April-August 2008 programme included an "Upstairs Downstairs" season. This saw revivals in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs of plays that enjoyed sell-out runs in the smaller Jerwood Theatre Upstairs in autumn 2007, including ones developed through the International Writers scheme funded by the Genesis Foundation.
The Genesis plays in the 2008 summer season were The Ugly One by Marius von Mayenburg, Free Outgoing by Anupama Chandrasekhar and the Oliver Award nominated Gone Too Far! written by Bola Agbaje and directed by Bijan Sheibaini.
