David Bruce, Composer (UK)

David BruceDavid Bruce has written two mini-operas for Tête à Tête and ENO Studios. Both were toured nationally. He has been commissioned by leading music ensembles, including the London Sinfonietta and the New Music Players, and has had broadcast performances by the BBC Symphony Orchestra and others. He completed a PhD under Harrison Birtwistle and, when not composing, runs several successful websites.

 

 

Anna Reynolds (UK)

Anna ReynoldsAnna Reynolds has had ten plays produced nationally and internationally, including Jordan (Time Out and Writers Guild awards), Precious (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Skin Hunger (London and Los Angeles; Time Out Critics' Choice), Look At Me (Theatre Centre) and most recently Ring Road Tales (Watford Palace Theatre). She has published a critically acclaimed novel, freelance journalism and numerous short stories in anthologies. Her screenwriting includes Paradise (BBC2) and The Winding Sheet (Channel 4), a winner at the Chicago Film Festival. She is currently under commission to Welsh Screen for a feature film; to Menagerie Theatre Company for a new play, Ruby; and to Pursued By A Bear Theatre Company for Loved. She also co-ordinates and teaches writing and drama projects, residencies and courses, and co-runs (with David Bruce) a major writing website: www.writewords.org.uk.
