James HutchinsonJames Alex Hutchinson (Class of 2004) began acting while studying for A-levels in English, French, History and Philosophy at the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He then went on to read English Literature at University College London where he acted in numerous productions at the Bloomsbury Theatre. James began his training at the Academy in September 2001 and graduated in July 2004. Since graduating, James’ theatre credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A Doll’s House, Dracula and the Voyage of Demeter, Richard III and Henry IV Parts 1 & 2. James has also recently recorded a DVD for the Secrets of Stage Combat series.

James has worked extensively on the London Theatre scene and in voiceover work. He has most recently been working on The Tempest at the Bridewell Theatre and Murder by the Book for BBC Radio 4.

James is represented by Ken McReddie Associates Limited.
