Genesis Fellow and acclaimed theatre director Joe Hill-Gibbins directs the Young Vic’s hotly-anticipated production of Thomas Middleton and William Rowley’s Jacobean masterpiece, The Changeling, from 26 January to 18 February. One of the most powerful tragedies ever written, The Changeling is a gripping and darkly comic tale of how love and sex drive us mad.
Joe Hill-Gibbins is currently Deputy Artistic Director of the Young Vic, and in 2010 he became the first Genesis Fellow to be appointed at the theatre. Since then, he has worked closely with Artistic Director David Lan to develop his craft. His credits include critically-acclaimed and sell-out productions of The Glass Menagerie (2010) and The Beauty of Queen Leenane at the Young Vic (2011), and The Village Bike at the Royal Court (2011).
