Fourth International Playwrights SeasonGenesis Foundation is proud to have supported the Royal Court Theatre fourth International Playwrights Season. The season featured productions of new plays from Brazil and Russia in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs accompanied by two major events:

  • CUBA REAL, a week of rehearsed readings, music and culture from contemporary Cuba
  • STATES OF CHANGE, a series of short plays reflecting the world we are living in today including States of Violence, the State of Palestine and City States.

The International Playwrights Season was produced by the Royal Court International Department and developed with support from the British Council. The department is headed up by Elyse Dodgson, who gives an exclusive interview to Genesis that is on this site.
