Congratulations to the Bolshoi’s two British students Hayley Stobo and Natalie Carter who have both passed their end of year exams at the theatre’s Ballet Academy with flying colours.
Hayley and Natalie are training towards a three year diploma and have just completed their second year. They have both been working extremely hard on their Dance and Academic studies, and their exceptional exam results are particularly impressive as both dancers have recently suffered injuries.
Hayley and Natalie are now home in the UK to enjoy a well-earned summer break before returning to Moscow in the autumn to embark on their final year of study.
In a recent blog post, Natalie writes:
“My final, but most important mention, goes to the Genesis Foundation, without whom the last three years could not have been possible. My progress and achievements are thanks to your generosity and love for the arts. Thank you enormously for the support and interest in my training at the Bolshoi Academy. I hope that Hayley and I can do you proud in our Graduating Year.”
